PEANA is pleased to present Poeticas do subterrâneo, the first solo exhibition in Mexico of Brazilian artist Beatrice Arraes.
The show presents a territory traversed by holes, craters, layers, and volcanic forces. Her works call us downward: to look at what opens, what sinks, and what pulses beneath the surface. Here, the earth is living, desiring matter, full of secret entrances and mysterious hollows.
